Description

The Vandoren Traditional SR214 is an alto saxophone reed for players who want a clear, pure tone with control across the full register. The combination of an exceptionally thin tip, which maximises vibration, and a solid vertebral column gives the reed both body and clarity. Strength 4 is a heavy strength for professional players with a well-developed embouchure who have the strength and control to bring the reed to full resonance. It offers maximum resistance and a rich, full tone, and is most often chosen with wide-opening mouthpieces. Each reed is individually sealed in a Flow Pack to preserve freshness. The box contains 10 alto saxophone reeds.
