When Is the Return Policy Different?
At Adams Music Centre, you can usually return your purchase within 14 days of receipt without giving a reason. This is known as the right of withdrawal. However, there are situations where this right does not apply or where we cannot accept a return. Below, we explain how it works, when you can and cannot return items, and why we sometimes have to refuse a return.
These rules apply within the EU. If you have questions about returns outside the EU, please email us at [email protected].
What Are the Normal Rules?
You have a 14-day reflection period after receiving your order. During this time, you can decide to return the product.
Do you want to return a product under the right of withdrawal? Notify us via [email protected]. We must then receive the product within 10 days of your notification.
To qualify for a full refund, the product must be returned undamaged, complete, and in its original packaging, including a filled-out return form in the box. Return shipping costs are at your own expense unless otherwise agreed.
Once we have received the product in good condition, we will refund the purchase amount within 14 days.
When can't you return a product?
In some cases, you cannot use the right of withdrawal. This applies to:
Custom-made products: These are specially made for you and cannot be used by others.
Digital products: Software or digital files downloaded immediately after purchase.
Sealed products: Products that are sealed, of which the seal has been broken.
Printing: All types of printing are excluded from the right of withdrawal.
Damaged products / packaging: If the product is damaged, incomplete, or not in its original condition.
Non-stock products: Products specially ordered for you that we do not normally keep in stock.
Hygienic reasons: Products that cannot be reused for hygienic reasons.
Consumable products: Products that are used up during use and are no longer usable after one use.
When Can We Refuse a Return?
Even if the right of withdrawal applies, we may refuse a return if:
Too late: You did not notify us of the return within 14 days of receipt, or the package arrived more than 10 days after you reported the return to us.
Damaged or incomplete: The product is damaged or incomplete. Or the original packaging is damaged.
Excessive use: The product has clearly been used more than necessary for testing.
Wrong packaging: The product was not returned in its original packaging.
Instructions not followed: You did not follow Adams' return instructions.
It is also possible that we decide to charge costs but still accept the return.
