A ligature is used to secure the reed to the mouthpiece. Metal, fabric or ligatures made from cord. A ligature clamps the reed to the clarinet mouthpiece to make sure the reed doesn't come off due to the vibrations during play. Below you find our ligatures arranged in different categories.
