Clarinet Overhaul
Is your clarinet not playing as smoothly as before? Are the keys 'sticking'? Is assembling the clarinet difficult or too easy? At Adams Music Centre, you can also have your clarinet overhauled. Among other things, it will be fitted with new pads. You can choose from the following pads: felt, Gore-Tex, cork, leather, Straubinger, or Kangaroo Pads. Each type of pad has its qualities and varies in price. During the overhaul, your instrument will also be polished and lubricated so that it runs smoothly again.
Clarinet Repair
In our repair department, we can perform the following repairs on your clarinet:
- Renew tenon cork
- Turn down barrel
- Repair cracks using graphite connections
- Gold Plating
You can also have the keys of your clarinet gold-plated at Adams Music Centre.
Silver Plating
It is possible to have the mechanism and keys of your clarinet silver-plated when there is a lot of wear. This can be done in silver or matte silver.
Replacement Instrument During Repairs
For only €20 per month, with a minimum of €20 per use, you can use a loan instrument during the repair period of your own instrument. The fee you pay is used to keep the loan instruments in top condition after each use. If you need one, please inquire about the available instruments when registering your repair and ask for the terms and conditions.
