Description
The Vandoren V21 alto saxophone reed combines a thin tip with a solid vertebral column for a warm, centred tone with excellent projection. The thin tip maximises the vibrating surface for a precise, immediate attack; the denser build towards the heel provides stability and carrying power. Strength 4.5 is among the heaviest options in the V21 range and requires a fully developed embouchure and strong airstream. It delivers an exceptionally full, dark sound with maximum carrying power — intended exclusively for professional saxophonists who deliberately choose maximum resistance. Supplied in a box of 10 in Flow Pack packaging.
