Description

The Selmer Premium is Henri Selmer Paris's new reed for alto saxophone, developed in collaboration with musicians from a wide range of genres. The profile is engineered for greater density, roundness and warmth of tone, and each reed is individually scanned using a Keyence laser profile reader to improve consistency within the box. Strength 2.5 is the first quarter-strength in the range, falling between the standard strengths 2 and 3, allowing more precise matching to mouthpiece and playing style. The reed combines enough flexibility for cantabile playing with the stability a more advanced player needs during longer rehearsals. Packaged without plastic, including a reusable reed holder made from bio-based material. Box of 10.
