Description

The Selmer Premium is Henri Selmer Paris's new reed for alto saxophone, developed in collaboration with musicians from a wide range of genres. The profile is engineered for greater density, roundness and warmth of tone, and each reed is individually scanned using a Keyence laser profile reader to improve consistency within the box. Strength 4 is the heaviest reed in the Premium range and requires a well-developed embouchure and sufficient air support. It offers the most resistance in the line and suits professional alto saxophonists with a closed mouthpiece opening or those who deliberately seek maximum sonority and volume. Packaged without plastic, including a reusable reed holder made from bio-based material. Box of 10.
