Description
The D'Addario VENN is a synthetic alto saxophone reed constructed from layered polymer fibres, food-grade resin and natural cane elements. D'Addario reverse-engineered cane to develop this material, resulting in a warm, balanced tone with a full tonal spectrum that closely mirrors natural cane. The reed requires no soaking, will not warp due to moisture or temperature changes and is ready to play immediately. Strength 2.5 is a widely chosen mid-range option combining warmth and response with sufficient resistance for dynamic playing. Note: VENN strengths tend to run slightly harder than comparable cane reed strengths. Sold individually.
