Description

The Selmer Premium is Henri Selmer Paris's new reed for alto saxophone, developed in collaboration with musicians from a wide range of genres. The profile is engineered for greater density, roundness and warmth of tone, and each reed is individually scanned using a Keyence laser profile reader to improve consistency within the box. Strength 3.25 is the quarter-strength just above the most common medium and offers slightly more resistance and projection without making the full step to a heavier reed. It suits players with a narrower mouthpiece opening or those who find strength 3 slightly lacking in body. Packaged without plastic, including a reusable reed holder made from bio-based material.
