Description
The Vincent Bach Commercial L551 5MV has a cup diameter of 16.25mm with a medium deep V-cup and backbore #25. The V-shaped cup produces a clear, free-blowing tone well suited to jazz and commercial music. The medium-wide rim with a medium sharp inner edge gives precise attack. Compared to the 3MV, the 5MV has a slightly smaller diameter, making the mouthpiece more accessible for trumpet players without an extremely strong embouchure. The combination of V-cup and the open backbore #25 makes the mouthpiece free-blowing with a lively, bright sound that carries well in big band settings.
