Description
The Denis Wick 4882 4E is a gold-plated trumpet mouthpiece from the Classic series with a 16.50mm cup diameter and shallow cup. The shallow cup and V-type backbore produce a clear, focused tone with strong projection, suited to jazz, lead and commercial trumpet playing. Compared to the 4882 4X, the 4E has a standard 5.18mm rim width without the extra-wide comfort rim, which suits players who prefer a traditional rim feel. Players accustomed to the 4-diameter who want a shallower cup and V-type backbore for a more directed, focused sound will find the 4882 4E a practical choice for jazz ensembles, big bands and light music repertoire.
