Description
The Schilke 9 is a Standard Series trumpet mouthpiece with a cup diameter of 16.33mm, standard C cup, #3 rim and 'c' backbore. All characteristics are standard, comparable to the Schilke 14 but in a smaller cup diameter. Schilke describes the 9 as a mouthpiece with standard characteristics that delivers a full, penetrating tone quality. The Schilke 9 is the right choice for players who want the stability of standard Schilke characteristics in a more compact format. Well suited for players with a smaller embouchure, developing players looking for a versatile starting point, or anyone who prefers a more compact option in the smaller diameter range for wind band and ensemble work.
