Description
The Bruno Tilz 214 6.5 AL-3 Extra is a silver-plated trombone mouthpiece from the Spezial Tilz series, made in the Extra version with slightly more mass in the mouthpiece body for a more core, focused sound. It has a large bore (Schaft 3) that suits instruments with a wider receiver. The cup measures 25.50 mm in diameter with a 6.3 mm bore, wide enough for good air volume and a full tone, with a medium-deep cup shape that adds roundness and warmth to the sound. That makes this mouthpiece a logical choice for trombonists playing an instrument with a wider receiver who want more body in the sound. Hand-made by Bruno Tilz in Neustadt.
