Description
The Courtois Becquet 6½MA is a trombone mouthpiece with a large bore from Courtois' professional tenor trombone range. The silver-plated mouthpiece is named after the French trombonist and pedagogue Michel Becquet and is made of metal. As part of the Becquet signature series, this mouthpiece was developed from the experience of a classically trained soloist, resulting in a design aimed at a rich, controlled tone that suits classical and brass-band repertoire well. The large bore makes it suitable for tenor trombones with a wide shank and fits players already used to this type of mouthpiece. This mouthpiece is a logical choice for the tenor trombonist looking for a professional mouthpiece to match a large bore.
