Description
The Bruno Tilz 305-6.5 AS-3 Extra is a silver-plated trombone mouthpiece from the B. Tilz Nea series, made in the Extra version with slightly more mass in the mouthpiece body for a more core, focused sound. It has a large bore (Schaft 3) that suits instruments with a wider receiver, while the cup itself, at 25.50 mm in diameter with a 6.5 mm bore, is already on the wider side within the range, giving enough air volume for a fuller, warmer tone. The medium-deep cup shape adds more roundness to the sound than the shallower variants in the same series, making this mouthpiece a logical choice for trombonists playing an instrument with a wider receiver who want more body in the sound. Hand-made by Bruno Tilz in Neustadt.
