Description
The Vandoren V16 alto saxophone reed was developed in 1993 at the request of American jazz musicians who wanted a Java reed with even more cane. The thicker tip and longer palette compared to the Traditional give the V16 a brighter, more percussive sound that is particularly well suited to jazz and contemporary styles of music. Strength 1.5 is the lightest option and responds readily, suited to saxophonists who want the characteristic V16 sound with maximum suppleness and expressive freedom. Supplied in a box of 10 in Flow Pack packaging.

Product Information
In 1993 the V16 was developed to meet the demands of a number of musicians, they wanted a Java reed that was even thicker. This gives the V16 a more brilliant, percussive sound which fits new styles of music particularly well.
