Description
The Vandoren V12 is an alto saxophone reed for the advanced or professional player looking for a fuller, darker sound than the Traditional offers. The reed is made from cane tubes with a larger diameter, resulting in a thicker heel and a longer palette with a slightly thicker tip. This allows a greater portion of the reed to vibrate, deepening and enriching the sound. The thicker tip also extends the life of the reed. Strength 4.5 is suited to players with a strong embouchure working with a wide tip opening who need additional volume potential across the full register. Supplied in a box of 10 in Flow Pack packaging.

Vandoren V12 4.5
Product Information
Vandoren V12 reeds are manufactured from cane tubes with a slightly bigger diameter. As a result, they have a thicker heel and are cut on a longer palette with a slightly thicker tip than the Traditional, resulting in a deeper, richer sound. The thicker tip increases the longevity of the reed.
