Description
The Selmer Premium is Henri Selmer Paris's new reed for alto saxophone, developed in collaboration with musicians from a wide range of genres. The profile is engineered for greater density, roundness and warmth of tone, and each reed is individually scanned using a Keyence laser profile reader to improve consistency within the box. Strength 3.5 is the heaviest quarter-strength in the Premium range and suits a narrower or less open mouthpiece. It offers more resistance than the medium strengths and delivers a full, well-projected tone. For professional players who deliberately choose a heavier reed without taking the full step to strength 4. Packaged without plastic, including a reusable reed holder made from bio-based material.
