Description
The Selmer Premium is Henri Selmer Paris's new reed for alto saxophone, developed in collaboration with musicians from a wide range of genres. The profile is engineered for greater density, roundness and warmth of tone, and each reed is individually scanned using a Keyence laser profile reader to improve consistency within the box. Strength 2 is the lightest reed in the range and suits an open mouthpiece or a player who needs immediate response and easy playability. Selmer's quarter-strength graduation begins at 2.5; strength 2 stands on its own as the most flexible starting point in the Premium line. Packaged without plastic, including a reusable reed holder made from bio-based material. Box of 10.
