Description
The Légère American Cut is a synthetic alto saxophone reed made from polypropylene, reinforced through an orientation process that aligns the polymer fibres for consistent stiffness and response. The profile concentrates material at the centre of the reed, emphasising higher overtones and producing a bright, vibrant sound with immediate attack and pronounced colour. Strength 2 is the lightest option and responds exceptionally quickly, making it well-suited to jazz saxophonists and players working in contemporary styles who prioritise freedom and an expressive, forward tone. No soaking required, will not warp, sold individually.
