Description

The Howarth S20C+3 is an intermediate conservatoire-system oboe, developed as the ideal upgrade for advanced students progressing from the Howarth Junior. This version features a fully synthetic upper joint, making the instrument completely resistant to cracking while preserving the full, rich tone characteristic of the traditional Howarth sound. The keywork is fitted with closed plateau keys, making the instrument easier to play for younger musicians and players with smaller hands. The semi-automatic octave system with a third octave key, left-hand F key and C-D and C-C? trill keys provides a significantly more advanced mechanism than entry-level models, while the instrument remains noticeably lighter than Howarth's professional models. The instrument is supplied with a case and protective cover.
