The Rigoutat Riec is a semi-professional oboe and the official successor in the Rigoutat range for the advanced student, adult beginner or dedicated amateur looking for greater tonal richness and flexibility. The body is made from grenadilla wood and features silver-plated keywork with a full conservatoire system and semi-automatic octave keys. The left-hand F key, forked F resonance key and third octave key provide smooth, intuitive fingering, making the transition to more advanced repertoire easier. The Riec produces a full, warm tone with excellent projection, without the cost of a fully professional model. For players ready to take a significant step towards a high-quality instrument, but not yet to the very top professional segment, the Riec offers an excellent balance of tonal quality and playing comfort.
