Description

The Lorée cE+3K, the Etoile model with an ebonite upper joint, is a professional oboe featuring a newly developed bore that requires less physical effort while maintaining a full, rich tone, particularly in the second octave. The body is made from grenadilla wood with an ebonite upper joint, while the keywork is silver-plated. The full conservatoire system includes plateau keys, all trill keys, a third octave key, a forked F resonance key and a left-hand F key, while an adjustment screw for the C key allows precise fine-tuning of tone colour and intonation. Thanks to the synthetic upper joint, there is no risk of cracking without compromising tone or playing feel. Lorée developed this model specifically for oboists who play on European reeds. The instrument is supplied with a case.
