Description
The JM Rotor Oil (11) is a 30 ml synthetic oil, made specifically for instruments with rotary valves. J. Meinlschmidt has been making valves for brass instruments since 1866 and developed this oil for fast response and smooth rotor action. The oil protects against corrosion and wear, is odourless and does not clump. All JM oils can be mixed with each other and combined with conventional petroleum-based valve oil, so you can switch without cleaning your instrument first. The oils are produced in Germany. For the bearings and linkage of your rotary valve, also use JM 13 or 13.5. The Rotor Oil 11 is suitable for horn players, rotary trumpet players and tuba and trombone players with a rotary valve.
