Description
The JM Light Piston (1) is a thin, 50 ml synthetic valve oil for piston valves. J. Meinlschmidt developed this oil for new instruments whose valves still fit very tightly in the casing. A thicker oil can slow such valves down, while this light oil allows smooth, fast and even action. The oil protects against wear, corrosion and deposits, is odourless and does not clump. It is produced carbon-neutrally in Germany. Over time, as your valves gain more clearance, you switch to JM 2. Because all JM oils can be mixed, you can do so without a cleaning session. The JM 1 is suitable for trumpet, cornet and flugelhorn players with a new piston-valve instrument.
