Vincent Bach, 351 series, 3E

Description

The Vincent Bach 351 3E has a cup diameter of 16.30mm, the same as the 3C and 3CW, but with a shallow cup and backbore #117. This combination allows trumpet players accustomed to a larger cup diameter to access the upper register more easily without switching to a smaller mouthpiece. The medium-wide rim retains the familiar feel of the 3 series, while the shallow cup reduces the embouchure effort required for high notes. Widely used in situations demanding extended time in the upper register, such as piccolo or D trumpet work. Requires a well-developed embouchure.
