Description
The Vincent Bach 351 3CW combines the cup of the 3C, with a 16.30mm cup diameter and medium cup depth, with a wider cushion rim contour that slopes gradually toward the outside. The slightly broader rim distributes lip pressure more evenly, which is beneficial during extended playing or for trumpet players with fuller lips. The tone and volume are comparable to the 3C: full, rich and with good projection in larger ensembles. Backbore #10 provides a balanced response. This mouthpiece is a logical choice when the 3C suits your playing well but the standard rim feels too narrow. Suitable for Bb, C and D trumpet, particularly in wind band and symphonic settings.
