Description
The Vincent Bach 351 3C with gold rim shares the same playing characteristics as the standard 3C: a 16.30mm cup diameter, medium cup, medium-wide rim and backbore #10. The difference lies solely in the finish: the rim is gold-plated rather than silver-plated. This makes the mouthpiece suited to trumpet players with a silver allergy, where direct contact with silver on the lips can cause irritation. In terms of tone and playing behaviour, this mouthpiece is identical to the standard 3C: a full, clear tone with good projection, suited to wind band and symphonic work. For advanced trumpet players who know the 3C but need an alternative finish due to a silver allergy.
