Description

The Vincent Bach 351 1 1/2C is a trumpet mouthpiece with a large cup diameter of 17.00 mm, designed for advanced players with a well-developed embouchure who need volume and projection. The medium cup depth and medium rim produce a warm, dark tone with sufficient clarity for orchestral playing. The combination of cup diameter and cup depth makes this mouthpiece suitable for a wide tonal range, from symphonic repertoire to wind band. Compared to the 3C, the 1 1/2C demands more air and embouchure control in the upper register, but offers greater volume and tonal depth in the middle and lower registers. Backbore #10, silver-plated brass.
