Description
The Denis Wick 5882 MM2C is a silver-plated trumpet mouthpiece from the Maurice Murphy series, developed with Maurice Murphy, Principal Trumpet of the London Symphony Orchestra from 1977 to 2007. The model Murphy himself played, it combines a 17.00mm cup diameter with a medium cup, a wide 5.35mm rim and a V-type backbore for strong projection. This combination produces a warm, full tone with focused brilliance, suited to both symphonic orchestral playing and lead and jazz work. The wide rim provides added comfort during extended performances. Professional and advanced players choose the MM2C as a versatile orchestral mouthpiece with a distinctive tonal character.
