Schilke Symphonic M3*, Silver Plated

Description

The Schilke Symphonic M3* is a silver-plated trumpet mouthpiece from the Symphony Series with the same #3 rim as the M3, but with a larger Schmidt backbore and a shorter throat. This produces a more open, freer-blowing feel than the standard M3. Schilke describes the star models as sharing the same rim and cup as the M and MD models, but with less resistance and a more open response. The Symphonic M3* in silver is the right choice for players who want the orchestral sound concept of the M3 with more freedom of blow. A practical option for orchestral players who prefer the Symphony Series rim and cup but find the standard M3 too resistant.
