Description

The Denis Wick 5882 5E is a silver-plated trumpet mouthpiece from the Classic series with a 16.00mm cup diameter and shallow cup. The shallow cup and V-type backbore produce a clear, concentrated tone with strong projection, suited to lead, jazz and commercial trumpet playing. The 5E shares the cup diameter with the 5882 5, but offers a shallower cup and V-type backbore for a lighter, more direct tonal character. Compared to the 5882 5X, the 5E has a 5.30mm rim without the extra-wide comfort rim. Players who want a compact mouthpiece with a shallow cup and focused tone, preferring a standard rim over the 5X, will find the 5882 5E a practical choice for jazz ensembles and light music.
