Schilke 16

Description

The Schilke 16 is a Standard Series trumpet mouthpiece with a cup diameter of 17.20mm, standard C cup, #3 rim and 'c' backbore. Schilke describes the 16 as a medium to large diameter mouthpiece with a full, free-blowing quality. All characteristics are standard, making this a versatile mouthpiece across a range of playing contexts. The 16 is the right choice when you want a larger mouthpiece than the 15 but prefer the rounded feel of the standard #3 rim over the flatter #4 of the 16C4. Well suited for wind band, orchestral and ensemble work where a fuller, open tone with standard characteristics is the goal.
