Description
The Schilke 15B is a Standard Series trumpet mouthpiece with a cup diameter of 17.12mm, the same as the 15, but with a medium-small B cup rather than the standard C cup. The B cup produces a more brilliant, more compact tone than the standard 15, while the standard #3 rim and 'c' backbore remain unchanged. The 15B is the right choice when you want to combine the diameter and rim feel of the 15 with a brighter, more focused tonal character. A good option for ensemble work, wind band and commercial playing where tonal clarity is the primary requirement.
