Description
The Vincent Bach 351 1D has a cup diameter of 17.00mm with a medium shallow cup and backbore #76, combining the large lip surface of the 1 series with a shallower cup that facilitates the upper register. The slightly shallower cup produces a brighter, more brilliant tone than the 1C, while the large diameter retains the full sound and projection of the 1 series. Suited to trumpet players in large symphony orchestras who alternate between Bb, C and D trumpet and are active in the upper register. The medium-wide rim provides adequate support. Requires a well-developed embouchure.
