Description
The Schilke 15 is a Standard Series trumpet mouthpiece with a cup diameter of 17.12mm, standard C cup, #3 rim and 'c' backbore. Slightly larger in diameter than the 14, it retains the same all-round character. Schilke describes the 15 as a free-blowing mouthpiece with a clear, open sound. The Schilke 15 is a good option for players who want a slightly more generous feel than the 14 provides without moving to a deeper or wider-blowing setup. Well suited for Wind band, symphonic repertoire and ensemble work where a clear, open tone with good volume is the goal.
