Description
The Denis Wick 6882 4X is a silver-plated trumpet mouthpiece from the HeavyTop series, the mass-enhanced version of the Classic 5882 4X. The additional mass around the cup, throat and backbore reduces vibration loss and transfers energy more efficiently, resulting in improved projection, stability and a stronger, richer, centred sound. With a 16.50mm cup diameter, shallow cup and wide 5.75mm comfort rim, this mouthpiece retains the playing characteristics of the Classic 4X with a more powerful tonal profile. The V-type backbore delivers a focused, projecting sound. Suited to lead and commercial players who want the benefits of HeavyTop technology combined with the comfort of the wide rim.
