Description
The Denis Wick 5882 MM4C is a silver-plated trumpet mouthpiece from the Maurice Murphy series, developed with Maurice Murphy, Principal Trumpet of the London Symphony Orchestra from 1977 to 2007. With a 16.50mm cup diameter, the MM4C is the most accessible model in the Maurice Murphy range, while retaining the series characteristics: medium cup, wide 5.35mm rim and V-type backbore for projection. Compared to the standard 5882 4C, the MM4C has a broader rim and V-type backbore, giving more projection and playing comfort in orchestral and ensemble settings. It suits advanced and professional players in orchestra, wind band, brass band and jazz ensembles.
