Description
The Vincent Bach 351 1C has a cup diameter of 17.00mm, one of the largest in the 351 series, with a medium cup and medium-wide rim. That large diameter gives the lips maximum room to vibrate, resulting in a large volume of tone with brilliant timbre and strong projection. This mouthpiece is primarily used by trumpet players in large symphony orchestras who alternate between Bb, C and D trumpet and need a consistent, powerful sound across the full register. Backbore #10 keeps the response balanced. The mouthpiece requires a well-developed embouchure and is less suited to beginners.
