Description
The Bruno Tilz 305-6.5 AS-1 Extra is a silver-plated trombone mouthpiece from the B. Tilz Nea series, made in the Extra version with slightly more mass in the mouthpiece body for a more core, focused sound. It has a small bore (Schaft 1) that suits instruments with a narrower receiver, while the cup itself, at 25.50 mm in diameter with a 6.5 mm bore, is actually on the wider side within the range, giving enough air volume for a fuller tone. The medium-deep cup shape gives a warmer, rounder sound than the shallower variants in the series. Hand-made by Bruno Tilz in Neustadt.
