Description

The D'Addario VENN is a synthetic alto saxophone reed constructed from layered polymer fibres, food-grade resin and natural cane elements. D'Addario reverse-engineered cane to develop this material, resulting in a warm, balanced tone with a full tonal spectrum that closely mirrors natural cane. The reed requires no soaking, will not warp due to moisture or temperature changes and is ready to play immediately. Strength 3+ is a third strength sitting just above strength 3, developed specifically for optimal mouthpiece pairing. Note: VENN strengths tend to run slightly harder than comparable cane reed strengths. Sold individually.
