The YAS/YTS-480 saxophones represent the next step forward. With slightly more resistance, they offer an authoritative and powerful sound while maintaining excellent flexibility, thanks to their separated key guards.
Ergonomics, playability, and intonation are outstanding—as you would expect from Yamaha.
Based on the popular YAS/YTS-475 models, the new YAS/YTS-480 saxophones feature an improved low B–C# connection for more precise adjustment. Additionally, the updated octave key system (borrowed from the 62 Series) allows for the use of custom necks.
