The YAS-480 intermediate alto saxophone delivers professional qualities at an intermediate price. Through the Yamaha ideology of 'vertical integration', many of the design features were adopted from top-level Custom EX saxophones, offering outstanding response, tone and intonation.
With a design influenced by high-end Yamaha saxophones, the YAS-480C features highly accurate intonation, a warm tone and a quick response. It is lightweight yet durable, and comes with a professional-quality 62-style neck for a more mature quality of sound.
