Description
The Zildjian Z40101 is a 14" hi-hat from the Z Custom series, built for drummers who want to cut through on stage with a powerful, bright sound. This hi-hat produces a bright and clean "chick" and "tick" with plenty of projection, making it suited to loud, energetic styles such as metal, punk and hard rock. The pair is made from B20 bronze alloy with a medium heavy top cymbal and a heavy bottom cymbal, giving a solid, full hi-hat sound with enough wash for extra body. The distinctive brilliant finish with the original star pattern of the Z Custom line makes this hi-hat as recognisable in looks as it is in sound. The combination of power and brightness makes this hi-hat especially suited to live use in heavier musical styles.
