Zildjian K1408

Description

The Zildjian K1408 is a 14" hi-hat from the K Custom series, built for drummers who want a raw, dry and funky hi-hat sound. This Special Dry version combines a thin top cymbal with a medium bottom cymbal, delivering a direct, "dirty" character with a quick attack and a short, controlled sustain. This makes the hi-hat suited to modern styles where an earthy, articulate sound is called for, with a clear stick response that still retains plenty of texture and character. The pair is made from B20 bronze alloy and carries the natural, unlacquered finish typical of the Special Dry line. This combination of directness and organic rawness makes the hi-hat a distinctive choice for drummers who want to carve out their own sound.
