Description
The Zildjian A0150 is a 14" hi-hat from the A Zildjian series, built for drummers who want a short, tight, funky hi-hat sound. This Quick Beat version has a flat bottom cymbal with four laser-cut holes, letting air escape rapidly on closing. That produces an immediate, pronounced "chick" with short sustain and a relatively high pitch. The pair is made from B20 bronze alloy and has a heavy weight, giving the hi-hat a solid, cutting sound that stands out in a dense mix. The combination of speed and weight makes this hi-hat suited to a wide range of musical styles, from funk to rock, wherever a tight, direct hi-hat sound is called for.
