Zildjian K1213

Description

The Zildjian K1213 is a 13 1/4" hi-hat from the K Custom Hybrid series, developed together with drummer Akira Jimbo. This hi-hat combines the power of a 14" hi-hat with the control of a 13" model, thanks to a medium-thin top cymbal and a medium bottom cymbal in B20 bronze alloy. The bottom cymbal features hybrid hammering, increasing the contact surface between the cymbals and producing a warmer, more powerful "chick". The sound is dark with a short sustain and a balanced tonal color, well suited to modern jazz, studio work, country and medium rock. A hi-hat for drummers who want to combine control and projection in one compact size.
