Description
The Zildjian K0940 is a 13" hi-hat from the K Custom Dark series, built from a medium-thin top cymbal and a medium bottom cymbal. This hi-hat has a warm, full-bodied tone with short sustain and a clean stick sound. When closed, it produces a bright, cutting "chick" that comes through clearly in a mix without losing its warmth. The dark tonal character of the K Custom Dark line gains a bit more directness and articulation in this 13" size, making the hi-hat well suited to modern jazz, studio work, country and medium rock. A versatile hi-hat for drummers looking for color and nuance without giving up solidity.
