Description
The Meinl TF-440 is a tuning fork of 13.7 cm and 54.2 grams, tuned to the standard pitch of A = 440 Hz. Meinl has the fork handmade and tuned in Germany. The steel is nickel-plated, and the ergonomically shaped cork grip sits comfortably in your hand. The logo and tuning are engraved into the fork. You strike the fork gently between the middle and the end of the prongs. Meinl recommends the Sonic Energy mallet SB-PM-SR-S for this, which is available separately. The tuning fork is suitable for musicians who want an accurate, durable reference tone at 440 Hz. Meinl also uses this fork for sound meditation. If you want a longer sustain, take a look at the larger Meinl TTF-440.
Browse our complete range of tuners from leading brands such as Korg, Adams and DrumDial, from compact clip-on and chromatic tuners to models for orchestral instruments and drums.
