Description
The Protec L227 large is a hand guard for horn, in the large size of 11.4 x 13.3 x 0.2 cm. You wrap it around the part of the horn where your left hand holds the instrument and fasten it with hook and loop. The exterior is leather and gives a firm, comfortable grip. The inside is lined with neoprene. This keeps hand sweat, skin oil and dirt off the lacquer or silver plating, so the finish stays looking good for longer at that spot. According to Protec, this size fits most double horns. The L227 large is suitable for horn players with a double horn who want to protect the finish and get a better grip.
